Progressive Dinner

This past weekend we had our annual Progressive Dinner with the youth of Redeemer. Unfortunately it was the same week as Prom and Senior Banquet for many of our students. Regardless it was a great time! You can see more pictures and read about the night here.

While we were doing this our friend George was having a rough day that would only get worse as he sat with us in Kansas City while his wife gave birth to their first child in Dallas. Classic story, though he doesn’t appreciate the “classic” part of it yet. Their is reason to praise to God though as their baby boy, Reese Owen Deines was born healthy apart from the abandonment issues he has as a result of his dad missing the first big event in his life. Nothing showing up to a Christmas pageant won’t fix. After all, it is not like he skipped his son’s big event to play in a pub league division “D” soccer game.

Beckham's Bunny "Nummies"

Beckham saw a rabbit in our yard the other day and everyday since has asked to “see bunny.” We decided to put out “bunny food”(aka carrots) to try to attract them. No luck yet, but he keeps ask, “check bunny?” before looking out the window.
