We didn’t find out what gender Berkley was until she was born (we did that with Becks, and for some reason did find out with SP. While we both highly recommend not finding out, we’re glad with did with SP, I think we needed to adjust to the idea of a girl!), and when people asked what we thought she was, I always hoped she would be a girl. I did always remember God’s sovereignty and perfect will, so if she had been a boy, I would be able to totally rest knowing that was the best too! But while I have two great brothers, I always thought it would be super fun to have a sister. I thank God that He gave Sadie Piper and Berkley that gift!
