We get to go to this picnic every year, but this year we got to go as a family with kids in school! Beckham doesn’t start pre-k for two more weeks, but this was a blast!!

SP was a princess. When she was finished, the artist told me, “I tried to get as much paint on her face as possible!” Our Sadie Piper isn’t the best at sitting still…

Julia was a mermaid! She had blue sparkly lips!!

I guess when you have small kids, this is bound to happen. I was just thankful that we had a good kid/adult ratio with Andria helping too!!

It started out like this (SP was pulling a Britney Spears!) :

SP got tired of riding and would rather push Berkley. It was either this or carry the trike. (No, Berkley is not dead)

Then Andria took over. She actually rode that thing a good quarter of a mile! It’s a thigh workout for sure!

Becks wanted a bigger bike.

Nah, he was good with his he decided!

SP then even tired of pushing and hitched a ride with Dad. Way easier. Smart girl.

But that left Berkley abandoned. It’s ok, Andria’s got it covered!

Then Andria needed a push up the hill.

Then Beckham actually started doing the pedaling!

So I’m minding my own business when I look out the window to see this:

I’m pretty sure SP stripped to pee in the grass, and Becks is in a boat with oars.

Every year at RiverRanch, Brian catches a turtle for Beckham and brings it home. This year it was named “Fox.” We aren’t fans of having to keep anything that doesn’t have a soul alive, so day 2 we convinced Becks he would be happier in the pond at church with the other turtles. He agreed it was best and set him free.

There’s really no place we’ve ever been to cooler than Paradise Park. How come no one told us about this place sooner?? The Barrs are our only real friends? They treated us to the best family day we’ve ever had!! Brandon and Lauren showed us the ropes and helped with the kids. I recommend taking them with you! There’s a crazy lot of pictures, I know, but this place was overwhelming!! The fun kept coming!

Here’s Becks with the Batman they got him with tickets at the end of the day. Brandon and Lauren got most of them, Becks reaped the benefits.

They have bumper cars!! We weren’t sure what to expect from Beckham (he was RIGHT at the line to be tall enough to ride alone)…he was a mad man!

You can fish! It’s magnetic and super fun! I love Lauren’s face! She must have caught a big one!

Then there’s the play areas inside. This one was a house. We ate dinner.

There’s a little grocery store! Kids get a cart, pick out what they want and then check out!!

Beckham of course was very meticulous, checked out every item!

I think SP tried to barter with Brian the Cashier.

There’s a kitchen where they cook and eat a snack! They had the best little sinks (and toilets!!) so they all wash up before and after cooking.

The theme that week was clowns. So they made “Pie in the Face” (banana pudding, cool whip and chocolate chips!)

And the craft was a clown hat!

There’s also rooms of just stuff every kid dreams of! This one is full of foam stuff you climb on, jump over, move around, hop through…apparently pass out on?

Nope, nope, he’s ok!

And in case you are wondering why their faces are painted, it’s cause they have face painting that you get to do yourself!!! Lions all around!

Berkley wasn’t a fan, but she was stinkin’ cute as a baby lion once Lauren finished!

Oh, and a water table room! Berkley did love this room! So did Brian and Lauren!

This is us checking out the outside…we were shocked at every room we went into and then we discovered there’s an outside too?? Where do we even start???

Right when we got there, we found a ball room. Our kids have never played in a ball pit before cause they don’t exist cause they are gross. But in this one, if you hit the bulls eye, it sucks the ball up, cleans it and drops it back in, so it’s constantly being cleaned. Brilliant.

When we stopped to get gas, I met Taylor Lautner. His real name was Devon. He was nice, and hates looking like Jacob. This picture took much coaxing, and much perseverance. I wasn’t letting this one go without a picture!!

Also at the marina Brian went inside to pay and a worker came out and said to me, “Your dad’s inside and needs the registration; this is your dad’s boat, right?” I almost peed my pants laughing so hard!

Speaking of peeing pants, I sat in water and it looked like I did!

Beckham and I rode our bikes to the grocery store last week. We’ve walked before, but this was his first bike trip. First of many more, God willing, cause it made the errand super fun!
